Originally founded by the late Hammon T. Becken, early business was focused on concrete block production and concrete home construction in 1927.

Today, our company is in the fifth generation of the Becken family; Hammon T. (Tom) Becken, Chief Executive Officer, his sons Thor Becken, President and Tim Becken, Senior Vice President of Operations, Tom’s brother, Steve Becken, Vice President/General Manager of Cemstone Ready-Mix, Inc. and Kyle Becken, South Central Regional Manager (Tom’s nephew) continue to direct North Star Stone and Masonry through their Vision and Mission, North Star will continue to push the industry boundaries of concrete technology, quality, people, and materials. 

Today, North Star Stone and Masonry is lead by Patrick Kelly, General Manager and is your source for top quality brick, block, stone and hardscape and landscape materials as well as masonry supplies. But the real cornerstone of our business is our values: quality, integrity, safety and an understanding of the importance of every job our customers undertake–whether it’s an office park or backyard retaining wall.

We’ve spent years developing the highest quality brands in the industry.  We manufacture our own block products, and supply quality concrete masonry units (CMUs), glazed, burnished, colored and other architectural block.
